by Desiree

I want to make a 89-91 ford Thunderbird 3D cake for my husband's birthday but I cant find a mold and I was wondering if you have any tips for doing 3D cakes from scratch without a mold?

Hi Desiree,

1. You can use cake as the main body of the car and fill in details using the rice krispie play dough technique shown in this power rangers cake.

2. Cut and stack pieces of cake to form the car, using the techniques in this dinosaur cake.

Good luck!
