Banana filling

I made the banana filling for a cake and I followed the directions given but my filling came out gritty. What could I do to keep this from happening again? Thanks.

Hi Teri,

I would suggest dissolving the pudding mix in the milk or water used in the recipe then adding the liquid when called for in the recipe.
