Beehive Cake

by Deb
(Atlanta, Georgia)

I made my Beehive Cake with three single layers of yellow cake covered in fondant.

The bees were made from fondant and suspended on wires going into the cake.

I donated this cake to a women's shelter.

From the editor:

Deb,

I love this Beehive Cake. It's adorable. It just goes to show what you can achieve with a simple design when you pay attention to the details.

The twist in the wires is fabulous. Such a simple change from inserting straight wires but it makes a big difference.

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful cake.

Regards,

Michelle (editor)
