Best cake filling

It's for my daughters 1st birthday party and I'm making a chocolate cake for her but not sure what filling to put... My mom the grandma wants to put whipped cream and strawberry's.. But I don't think it will taste good, not on chocolate cake with butter cream frosting. What do you think? I need desperate help.

A never fail filling, especially for kids cakes, is the scrumptious cookies and cream filling.

If your Mom is set on a fruit filling, bananas go really well with chocolate.
