best way to put words on cake

I have a teachers retirement cake that I'm doing. They requested this poem to be on it. I was wondering the best way to write it on there? I don't want it to look like chicken scratch and its going on top of a opened book cake so I really can't do the choc. mold because there isn't enough room. any ideas? thanks so much.

Hi Kristi,

If you have a local bakery that does edible images on frosting sheets, you could print out the poem, using the exact font etc. that you want and take it to them to transfer onto a frosting sheet for you.

Then it's very simple to add to the finished cake, exactly where you need it.
