Pineapple anyone?

I made these Pineapple Birthday Cupcakes for my daughter's luau birthday party.

They were very easy to make:

Just bake your favorite cupcake recipe - I like the perfect lemon cake recipe from this site.

Then, cover the top of each cupcake with bumpy pineapple 'skin'. I did this with a star tip and yellow buttercream.

Last, finish with several green spikes in the top. I made these using the paint and peel chocolate technique from this site.

They're really very easy. Anyone could make these and they were a big hit at the luau party!
