bundt cake
The recipe for cream cheese cake filling does not say what to do with it once it is made. I want to make a bundt cake and put the filling inside. Do you put in on top of cake mix before baking? Do you put it in a certain way?
Thanks
From the editor:
Usually for filling cakes, you would split the cake into layers, horizontally, and add the filling between the layers.
For a bundt cake, when you want to show off the decorative shape of the cake itself, you can add filling by injecting it right into the center of the cake. To do this, fill a decorating bag fitted with a long, skinny tip known as a bismark tip. If you don't have a bismark tip, you can use any large size , round pastry tip. Just poke the tip half way into the cake and pipe filling into the space left by the tip as you wiggle it out of the cake. Repeat every 2" or so.
