Buttercream

Once I make buttercream and use it, can I save it in a airtight container?

How long will it last?

Do I have to refrigerate it?

Storing Buttercream

Buttercream will keep, in an airtight container, for 2 weeks in the refrigerator and up to three months in the freezer.

If using from frozen, allow to thaw on the counter for 30 minutes then whip in a stand mixer (or with a hand mixer) for a few minutes. If using from the fridge, just skip to the mixing step.
