Cake Idea For a Friend Who Moved Away

My friend Paige moved away to a different state last month. And today she is going to sleep over and my other friend and I want to bake her a cake that says "glad your back" or "Don't move away" or something of the sort. Any ideas?

Sleepover Cake

Hi Anna,

Here's some fun ideas for your sleepover cake:

1. Split some graham crackers to make rectangle shapes and frost them in royal icing. When the icing is set, use food color markers to draw a sleeping bag with a little face sticking out of it on each graham cracker. You could even make each one look like one of you!

You could pipe the wording "glad you're back - even if it's just for one night" on the cake.

2. Cut a cake to form the shape of the state where you live and use buttercream to pipe an outline and some rivers, roads etc. so the cake looks like a map.

Pipe the words "wish you were still here" on the cake.
