can an airbrushed mmf cake be put in the freezer?

I made a marshmallow fondant cake and airbrushed it, but the lady just called and gave me the wrong date. Its for the following sat instead of the 19th, can it be stored in the freezer until than or should i keep it in the fridge wrapped till than?

From the editor:

I would never freeze or refrigerate a fondant covered cake, especially if it's been airbrushed. It's very likely that the colors will bleed or run from condensation formed during the thawing process.

If you haven't used any perishable fillings in the cake, you can store it, in a cardboard box with a lid, in an air conditioned or cool, dry room for about 5-7 days.

If you absolutely must refrigerate the cake because of perishable fillings, make sure to allow the cake to come to room temperature in an air conditioned room. If that's not possible, place the cake in front of a fan and turn often while the cake comes to room temperature.

Good luck.
