Castle Cake
This Ariel Castle Cake was made using the Castle Princess cake directions. I changed it into a sand castle by simply adding crushed graham crackers.
The cones were coated with a thin layer of corn syrup and rolled in crumbs.
The more detailed coral reef pieces were made with modeling chocolate.
The large rocks are molded rice krispy teats covered with tinted marshmallow fondant. The Ariel figure is actually a candle.
From the editor:
Great Job. Just goes to show that one simple change can make a big difference.
