Feb 13, 2009 Rating Chocolate Marshmallow Buttercream Recipe by: Michelle (admin) Hi Shannon, Try this recipe and see what you think. It's super easy and really fool-proof. Thanks for your question. I love hearing from my visitors at www.easy-cake-ideas.com You can use the recipe as-is for frosting and for filling I like to add 1 cup of chocolate chips (crumbled in food processor) or 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs...yum! Ingredients 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature 1 (7 1/2 ounce) jar Marshmallow Fluff or Creme 1 cup powdered sugar 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract Directions Beat butter on high speed until light and fluffy Add marshmallow creme and and beat until well mixed Add sugar, cocoa and vanilla while mixer is running on lowest speed beat at high speed 5-8 minutes until light and fluffy and volume has increased significantly.
