Cream cheese cake filling for fondant cakes

Hi! I was wondering what would be the best cream cheese filling recipe to use for a covered fondant cake without refrigerating. Can I use a cream cheese icing recipe for the filling?

Hi Celeste,
Technically, you shouldn't use a cream cheese filling for a cake that's not going to be refrigerated. Having said that, most bakeries are happy to use a cream cheese filling for is a cake will be stored at room temperature for 24 hours or less.
