cream cheese recipe

by Diane Astorga

I would like to make a pineapple cream cheese filling for a cake. Can I add crushed pineapple to the cream cheese recipe I printed. If so how much do I add and do I add any of the juice.

From the editor:

Diane,

You can absolutely add pineapple to the cream cheese filling recipe. Just be sure and drain the pineapple really well. In fact, don't just drain it. Squeeze the juice out of the pineapple until it's really dry, then mix in to the filling. Use a small can of pineapple for one full recipe of filling.

Regards,
