Decorating with candies

I want to decorate a rice crispie cake with fairly large sweets(one large flat slab not individual cakes, made with mars bars not plain chocolate). Do you think they will stick to it while its still setting or would I need to adhere them with something else. Thanks!

Hi Sheila,

In answer to your question about the rice krispie cake:

I would recommend waiting until the rice krispies are set.

If you're using chocolate candies, adhere them with chocolate buttercream or chocolate ganache.
