Dog cake

This Dog Cake is my most detailed cake yet!

The head is chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream and cut up Reeses cups! The nose part is cookie dough cake, fondant nose and tongue. The back is peanut butter cake with peanut butter buttercream, all made from scratch (expect fondant). The arms/paws are made from rice krispies.

This cake was for my husbands chief who was leaving. Everything I did has to do with an inside joke he has!

He loved it so much he wouldn't let anyone cut it, he just took it home!!

From the editor:

Beautiful dog cake Tara. No wonder the chief loved it. I had that happen once with a 50th birthday cake that was a replica of the birthday boy's signature knitted hats. He wouldn't cut the cake and I believe it's still in his freezer a year later!

Thanks so much for sharing your cake with us.

Regards,

Michelle 9editor)
