Fall Wedding Cake

Fall Color - simple buttercream cake with fall flowers.

The bride and groom were on a tight budget, so I went with a Fall Wedding Cake very simply iced in buttercream.

The cake arrived at the reception naked as a jaybird. I dressed it with ribbon and flowers the bride's mom had provided. Then I decorated the cake table with items I found lying about. You can do a beautiful cake on a budget. This cake served 100 and sold for $300 plus delivery and set up. The bride was very pleased.

The cake tiers were all chocolate with different fillings: Bottom-peanut butter mousse and chocolate ganache; Middle-raspberry buttercream; Top-espresso buttercream.
