Fire Truck Cake

I made this Fire Truck Cake for a friend's husband, who is a volunteer fire fighter and has just passed his test to be certified. It was not supposed to come out this good (lol). It was just for fun. I ended up making this for three more friends.

Holly doesn't say, but it looks like she has cut the pieces from a sheet cake and stacked them to achieve the basic shape of the fire truck.

The details are filled in using a star tip and the various colors of buttercream frosting.

The wheels look like they are made using Oreo cookies, or similar and the lights are red and yellow candies.
