- 24 cupcakes - these ones are Classic Moist Chocolate Cake
- Chocolate Buttercream
- Lemon Yellow powdered food color or candy color
- Black Powdered Food Color or candy color
- cocoa candy melts
- white candy melts
- decorating bag fitted with Tip-#1M Star
here's how to do it...

1. Bake 24 cupcakes using your favorite recipe. When coompletely cooled, top with a swirl of chocolate buttercream (or your choice of frosting) using a #1M tip, starting at the outer edge and moving in to the center as you go.
2. Use the chocolate piping technique to make 30 yellow full moons. You'll have extras, in case there's any breakage etc.
3. Use the chocolate piping technique to make about 30 white ghost shapes.
You'll only need 24 to complete the cupcakes, but it's always good to have extras in case any break.
4. Use the chocolate piping technique to make two or three black tree silhouettes.
5. Gently push a full moon into each cupcake, then a tree in front of the moon, then a ghost in front of the tree.
You're done! Now go take some birthday cake pictures of your own and show them off here.
