what you'll need:

- 24 cupcakes - these ones are Classic Moist Chocolate Cake
- one recipe of Chocolate Buttercream
- 1 cup of untinted Buttercream
- Leaf Green gel paste food color or Leaf Green powdered food color
- decorating bag fitted with Tip-#1M Star
- decorating bag fitted with #234 large grass tip
- Black candy writer
- white candy melts
- about six Orea cookies, or other chocolate cookies, crumbled in the food processor
here's how to do it...

1. Bake 24 cupcakes using your favorite recipe. When coompletely cooled, top with a swirl of chocolate buttercream (or your choice of frosting) using a #1M tip, starting at the outer edge and moving in to the center as you go.
2. Use the chocolate piping technique to make 30 white headstone shapes, about 2" x 1". You'll have extras, in case there's any breakage etc.
After the shapes have set, use the black candywriter to write "RIP" on each headstone
3. Sprinkle about a teaspoon of cookie crumbs on top of each cupcake0.
Tint the white buttercream dark green with the Leaf Green food color and place in the decorating bag fitted with the #234 tip. Pipe a mound of grass on each cupcake.
4. Place a headstone in each cupcake, next to the mound of grass by pushing gently into the buttercream to secure.
You're done! Now go take some birthday cake pictures of your own and show them off here.
