help with my cream cheese frosting
by Tammie
(Hollister, NC)
I made a batch of the cream cheese frosting for my daughter's birthday this weekend. I will also be making a fruit dip for her party that uses cream cheese.
When I tasted the frosting, it tasted very similar to the cream cheese fruit dip. I don't want my cake and fruit dip to have the same taste and have people think I am using fruit dip as my frosting.
What can I do? Is there anything I can do different to the frosting to give it a different flavor? (Just not too sweet).
This is my first time making her cake, so I want it to be perfect and I'm beginning to panic. Thanks for any help you can give me.
