How do I stop my cake from oozing?
After filling and icing my cake, I then cover it with fondant, but the center starts oozing out.
What am I doing wrong?
What should I be doing?
From the editor:
Hi,
There's an easy way to solve this dilemma:
Fill and crumb coat the cake then refrigerate overnight. This allows the filling to firm up enough to support the weight of the fondant and you won't see the oozing that you're getting right now.
