I have made a three tier cake, white cake with rasbperry filling , and the other two marble cake with white mouse pudding. I have finished off by making a marshmallow fondant. I don't know how to store the finished product. Please help.
From the editor:
Huda,
If the mousse you used to fill the cake with is perishable, you'll have to store the finished cake in the refrigerator, which is not ideal for any kind of fondant. Here's a few tips that may help:
1. Place the cake in a cardboard box inside the fridge. This will help to absorb any moisture and may help prevent condensation spots forming on the fondant.
2. When you take the cake out of the fridge, allow at least an hour before the cake is needed. You can either place the cake in an air conditioned room or in front of a fan set on low to remove any condensation that may form. If using the fan, turn the cake often.
Good luck.
