how do I transfer a picture to my cake?

Wow, you answered my 1st question in light speed! Thank you SO much!

My next question is this, I already have the print-out of Spongebob that I need for my cake. It's the right size and everything! So now, how do I get it onto the cake?

I want to find a way to trace it up there and then outline it with the black gel.

From the editor:

Hi again Tee,

The easiest way to do that would be to cut around Spongebob and place it directly on your cake. Mark out the details with a straight pin, piercing the paper every 1/4" or so, until you have a dotted line you can follow when you remove the paper. For the overall shape you can just pipe the gel around the outline of the character, then remove the paper, pipe the details in black gel and fill in each area with the required color of frosting to finish.
