How long does marshmallow fondant last?

by Sarah

I want to make some decorations for my son's first birthday cake, and want to make them ahead of time. How far in advance can I do this? And should I refrigerate them or anything? Thanks!!

Marshmallo Fondant

Hi Sarah,

You can make Marshmallow Fondant up to a month in advance and keep it, tightly wrapped, in the refrigerator.

Once you make decorations from the fondant, don't refrigerate them. Just store them, loosely covered, at room temperature until you need them.

Regards,
Michelle
