How long does the fondant last before going bad? How much ahead of time can I make a cake and leave it out before it is "no good"?
From the editor:
Marshmallow fondant will keep in the fridge for up to three weeks and in the freezer for up to three months.
You can store a cake at room temperature for up to 48 hours when it's covered in fondant, as long as you don't use a perishable filling in the cake, like whipped cream type fillings.
