how to cut a pantespani???

Actually I've never tried it yet but when the pantespani is ready from the oven, do you leave it to cool and you cut it afterwards????

From the editor:

As soon as you take the Pentespani (Greek Sponge Cake) from the oven, you cut it into squares or diamonds, but do not remove it from the pan. You remove the cinnamon sticks and cloves and pour the syrup over the cake. Allow it to cool and soak up all the syrup before serving straight from the pan.
