How to decorate pig cake

I am making a pig birthday cake for my granddaughter.

I was going to use pink fondant , but I also wanted to simulate the fine pig hair on a real pig.

Do you have any ideas on how to make the pig hair?

I thought about cotton candy, but it melts quickly if in contact with moisture. Any other ideas?

Hi Lou,

You could try 'combing' the hair texture into the fondant with an inexpensive plastic hair comb.

Just lightly comb and lift a little at the end of the stroke to get a realistic, fine hair effect.

If you do this effect with pink fondant, you could let it dry out a little and dust with petal dust in a different shade of pink or even brown for a more detailed effect.
