How is the chocolate topping made from modeling chocolate applied to a cake.

From the editor:

Hi Ingrid,

To cover a cake in modeling chocolate, you treat it exactly like fondant, although it can be rolled out thinner than fondant since it is more elastic.

Check out this how to cover a cake in fondant tutorial for step-by-step instructions.

Good luck.

Michelle (editor)
