I'm in Australia and was wondering when you say shortening in your recipes what would that be here and also when you say a stick of butter what weight is that exactly.

Hi Roz,

Shortening here would be Copha in Australia and a stick of Butter it 4 ounces or 1/2 cup (US). The equivalent measure in Australia would be 115 grams.
