Olympic Cake
by: Michelle (admin)

Hi Carey,
Thanks for your question about Olympic themed birthday cakes. Here are a few thoughts:

1.Create the Olympic rings in cake. Cut a circle from the middle of 5 round cakes, leaving a 2" - 3" wide ring. Frost them in the Olympic colors and piece them together to form the Olympic rings. Simple and spectacular.

2. Find a picture of your favorite logo from the current or any previous Olympic games and use it as a template to cut the shapes and re-produce the logo in cake. Being an Aussie, mine would be the Sydney 2000 Olympics, but you could use whatever year you like!

3. Find a picture of one of the beautiful medals from the current or any previous games and re-produce it in cake.

I hope you've found this info helpful.

Regards,
Michelle
