Painting on fondont
by Andrea

I am making a leopard print cake but do not want to cut out all of the little pieces of fondant to roll together. What type of "paint" do I use on it?
Hi Andrea,
For painting on fondant, you can use paste or gel paste food colors that are available at any good cake decorating or craft store.
I have used them both undiluted and diluted with a little vodka. Either way will work, depending on how strong you want your color to be.
Powder colors are good too. If you would like to try them, you can purchase them here.
Don't forget to take lots of pictures and come back here to show off your cake when it's finished.
Good luck!
