Peanut Butter Icing

Does anybody have a recipe for Peanut Butter icing? I'd like to have it sturdy enough to put fondant over, but I can't find a recipe to begin with... Anybody know of one?

Hi Caroline,

Try this great recipe for fluffy peanut butter frosting, from allrecipes.com:

INGREDIENTS

Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature and that the mix is beaten on med-high speed for

* 1/2 cup butter, softened
* 1 cup creamy peanut butter
* 3-5 tablespoons milk
* 2 cups confectioners sugar

DIRECTIONS

1. Place the butter and peanut butter into a medium bowl, and beat with an electric mixer on medium speed, until completely incorporated (3-5 mins).

2. Gradually mix in the sugar, and when it starts to get thick, incorporate milk one tablespoon at a time until all of the sugar is mixed in and the frosting is thick and spreadable. Beat for at least 3 minutes for it to get good and fluffy.
