Peppa Pig in her fairy dress

Peppa Pig in her fairy dress

I made this Peppa Pig cake for my daughter's 4th birthday as she is a huge Peppa Pig fan, this is only the 4th birthday cake that I have made.

Not many Peppa Pig items are available in Australia so I googled Peppa Pig images and found a picture of Peppa pig in her fairy dress, I then enlarged the picture and printed off to use as my template.

I baked 2 x vanilla cake mixes 2 days prior to the party, the day before the party I cut out the cake and placed it on a board. In the evening I decorated the cake with butter icing and used silver & blue balls for the crown and Peppa's wand.

I piped her feet, shoes, hands, wand etc.. I also used 2 smarties on her nose. The yellow stars were made out of ready roll icing (fondant) which I tinted yellow and used a variety of star cutters to create the different sized stars.

From the editor:

What a fabulous Peppa Pig Cake Michelle. It's so cute it's almost unbearable. I bet your daughter was thrilled when she saw it.

Thanks so much for sharing it with us. I love seeing what my lovely visitors have been up to.

Regards,

Michelle (editor)
