This is a 2 tiered cake, it is a 6" and 8" round double layered cake. It is covered and filled with buttercream, then covered in fondant.

The strips, polka dots, and bows are also made of fondant. The large bow on the bottom of the cake I took and rolled the pink stripes into the green fondant.

The borders are piped on with buttercream. The inital on top of the cake is made from royal icing. The happy birthday banner is also fondant with pink royal icing for the writing.

this was my cake!
by: Christy

This cake was made for my baby girl the day she was born. It was so beautiful, I didn't want to ever cut it. It was presented to me in the hospital and every nurse and nurses aid was in there getting info on it, for they wanted one like it for their daughter or grand daughter! Very very gorgeous cake!
