Pool cake

by Nicole
(Weatherofrd, Oklahoma, USA)

This Pool Cake was my second cake.

I used pound cake, wafer cookies, twizzlers, whipped icing, colored sugar, clear karo (corn) syrup, and a peppermint.

I frosted the whole cake so the wafers would stay. I mixed blue and green colored sugar. Dip the wafer in the syrup then in the colored sugar put on wax paper let dry. When dry place around entire cake, then cut some cake out of the center for the pool, fill it with blue icing. Cut wafers to fit onto top. Take chocolate wafers and cut them and take icing and place them together like a lawn chair. Pink wafer for diving board. Peppermint for beach ball.
