I am looking for the quantities needed to make a sponge cake for a 9in square tin

Hi Christine,

It depends on whether you're using a 1 1/2" high pan or a 2" high pan. For a 1 1/2" high pan you'll need 8 cups of cake batter and for a 2" high pan you'll need 10 cups of batter.
