quick icing

I need a quick and easy idea to write a message on a store bought cake.

The quickest way to add a message to a store bought cake would be with a tube of decorator gel, which you can purchase at any supermarket. It's ready ti use right out of the tube, so no mixing, measuring or recipes to deal with.
