choo choo...it's the Sesame Street cake train

To make this Sesame Street Cake train I baked a 12" by 12" chocolate cake and cut it up into 3 sections for the train. It is torted (layers split horizontally) and filled with chocolate ganache, then covered with fondant.

I used Oreo cookies as wheels for the train and molded all the Sesame street characters for the train from fondant. To make the train more interesting, I filled one of the carriages with M&Ms so that the kids can grab them after cake cutting. I also attached lollipops too.

I piped grass around the train with Wilton tip#233 for more effect.

keep the excitement going

Really Cute Train Cake
by: Michelle

I love the characters on the train and the grass-covered cake board. That #233 tip is one of my favorites.

Good luck in the contest.
