Pink Pearls and Lace. Classic white cakes with white chocolate buttercream icing. Bottom tier is filled with lemon curd and the top tier is filled with dark chocolate ganache.

This is a beautiful example of simple wedding cake design. No matter what your level of expertise, you can create a similar look:

You can achieve this look with a silicon lace mold and pearl mold.

Alternatively, use a piece of lace fabric and a rolling pin to impress the lace texture on to a piece of fondant. cut carefully around the edges of the design and apply to your cake.

You can also make the pearls by rolling small pieces of fondant individually and applying to the cake, or even piping a pearl border in royal icing or buttercream.

The roses can be made from fondant, gumpaste or you can use silk flowers from the craft store.
