Snowman Cake

Mr. Snowman was tasty!
This Snowman Cake is made with two bundt cakes for the bottom, and 2 half dome cakes for the head. Then one gigantic cupcake for the beanie (there is also one for the neck that is used just for support). Then lots and lots of homemade buttercream!
From the editor:
This Snowman Cake is a great demonstration of what you can achieve without using a ton of specialty pans and equipment.
If you don't have bundt pans, just use different sized bowls or even casserole dishes to bake the cakes in.
To support the structure of the Snowman Cake easily, just pound a cake dowel or thick bamboo skewer all the way through the cake once it is assembled. This will give you piece of mind that it's not going to collapse.
If you don't have any special frosting tips you could finish the Snowman cake by smoothing buttercream all over then pressing in shredded coconut to finish (tint some with food coloring for the scarf).
Nicki doesn't say, but it looks like the nose, eyes, mouth and buttons are candies.
Thanks for sharing this super cute cake Nicki.
