My name is Jessica. I am sixteen years old and I absolutely love baking. I have a boyfriend and we have been going out for almost two years!!!!!
our anniversary is the 18th of October and I want to bake him a cake that reminds us of the times we both have together. Maybe a picture??? Any other ideas???
I also want it to be the best cake.. so may I have the recipe to the most amazing cake and frosting:) too much to ask huh :D sorry and thank you!!!!

Hi Jessica,

Here's a few tips for very special occasion cakes:

1. Layer the flavors - don't just pick one flavor for cake and one for filling. Layer several complimentary flavors together. Here's on of my favorites:

Perfect Lemon Cake with whipped cream frosting, white chocolate and lemon curd filling. Paint melted white chocolate onto each cut surface of the cake layers before you assemble the cake, then stack - cake layer, whipped cream frosting, lemon curd, another cake layer. Continue stacking in this order until all layers have been used.

As far as decoration goes, if there is some activity that you two love to do together, that would make a good theme for the cake, e.g. tennis, video games, whatever.
