This Sports Cake was my very first cake. It was inspired by son and husbands hobby, Airsoft.

My friend Abi and I made it for my sons 7th Birthday.

We used a cake mix and made marshmallow fondant for the big cake and vanilla buttercream icing for the cupcakes.

We used some soldier toys as toppers for our cake and to make it look more like a field. We used a grass tip (Wilton #233
or #234) for the icing.
