Simply Roses Wedding Cake

This Square Wedding Cake is a simple buttercream cake for 100. The sizes are 6, 10 & 14. Each square is twisted slightly off center. The flavors were carrot with ginger-nutmeg filling, Chocolate with raspberry buttercream filling and Espresso with espresso buttercream filling.

The dots on the bottom were piped in buttercream. The other embellishments were crafted from fondant.

This is a fabulous example of what a few simple techniques can do. You could also achieve the same look with all buttercream piping or the very versatile one color chocolate method.
