Refrigerating Iced Cake?
by: Anonymous

Once you make the buttercream and apply it as icing on your cake, does it need to be refrigerated? It is so confusing when icings need to be refrigerated and when they can sit out- any help would be greatly appreciated!

Most cake fillings can be stored, covered in an airtight container, in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. You can also freeze most cake fillings for up to two months very successfully.
