Bears at the ppol

Bears at the ppol

Here is a Swimming Pool Cake I made about 10 years ago for my niece. I had just gotten the internet and had found this for her.

The tiles are made of gum, the trees are gummies slit at the top and held up on lifesavers.

The bears are teddy graham crackers and I used a tube of icing scribblers to make bathing suits on them. The inner tubes are jujubes.

I don't remember what the cake was, but back then I am sure I was still using boxed cake.

Nicole just posted her beautiful pool cake and it reminded me of this cake.

To make the pool I cut a layer off the cake and trimmed the hole - then carefully placed the cake back on. I filled it with jello after icing the cake.

From the editor:

As always Lucie, a beautiful cake. Thanks so much for sharing your Swimming Pool Cake with us.
