Swiss Meringue Buttercream Question

I'm sorry this is probably stupid, but the "best buttercream ever" recipe you sent on 6/30 quotes 9 egg whites, 1 3/4 cup of sugar and 2 sticks butter. Now, is that powdered sugar or granulated sugar? Sorry!!
Thanks for this website.

From the editor:

Hi,

There's no such thing as a silly question. That's regular granulated sugar in the recipe for the Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

Regards,

Michelle (editor)

Can I use your cake filling recipes with swiss meringue buttercream instead of normal buttercream? Will the recipes still be the same? :o)
