Tea Cup Cake

by Marica
(Zadar, Croatia)

This Tea Cup cake is Red Velvet cake filled with cream cheese and covered with home made fondant.

From the editor:

Marica doesn't mention what the tea cup and saucer are made from, but there are a couple of ways to achieve the look:

1. Secure a small porcelain tea cup and saucer and to the cake with buttercream, or

2. Use gum paste to model your own. You could mold the gum paste around an actual cup and saucer to get the shapes right and finish with a beautiful design, using paste food color thinned with vodka.
