Truck Cake

Crazy for Cranberries!

I made this Truck Cake when my husband was living in a super 8 for 1 whole year where the army had housed his unit, due to not having the available housing on base. I came up one weekend, and while I was up there, cranberry fest was going on.... I decided to be creative, and use my husbands toaster oven to bake a cake!...

two meatloaf pans were used in this creation..

after the cakes were cooled, I used one whole meat loaf pan for the main part of the truck, and cut the other cake in half, for the top part of the truck. I used butter cream frosting to decorate, oreos for the wheels, and of course, craisins, for the back of the trucks bed..

and gave it to my husband to bring to work.. lol the army got a kick out of it, and there was not a peice of it left to bring home!
