Uses, storage tips and ability to keep for your recipes

I am very new to cake decorating and I love your recipes. I would like to know how long your different recipes keep and how they should be stored (cakes, fillings, filled cakes, frostings, ganaches, etc.). Are some of these recipes good for doing ahead and freezing them to use later? Which frostings work best for flower decorations? Which cakes are better suited for a tiered cake? Overall, I am hoping you could add uses, storage tips, and ability to keep for all of your recipes. Thank you for your information. You have a wonderful site!

From the editor:

Hi Chantal,

Welcome to the wonderful world of cake decorating. I'm glad you're enjoying the site and finding it useful.

There is a major site re-design in the works this year and, as part of that re-design, I'll be adding lots of new information to help make baking and decorating easier, including storage tips and keeping times.

Check back often to see what's been updated.
